How to join the record

The record is part of a self funded mission to save 100,000 lives - The Bloody Good Tour by Simmo Braun. He has been caravanning around the country for twelve months to visit every Lifeblood donor centre and raise awareness for the urgent need of blood in Australia. The Tour officially ends on the 31st of July at Lifeblood Sydney Town Hall with a strong finish to break a record.

This is not only your opportunity to be part of something incredible but also to unite the nation behind this bloody good movement and save lives together. 

The current record is held by Commonwealth Bank Australia with 552 staff members donating on a single day across 46 donor centres in the country. Let's beat that - everyone can be a Bloody Good Human!

In order for your donation to count towards breaking the record (whether blood, plasma or platelets), you need to be part of our Lifeblood Team "Bloody Good Humans" to have your donation contribute to the record. You can simply add yourself or ask Lifeblood to add you. Most importantly, your donation needs to be done on the 31st of July!  

Ineligibilities change over the time - check with Lifeblood to see if you are eligible to donate now. Call them on 13 14 95.

You can still support us by advocating and spreading the word. 1/3 Aussies need blood but only 1/50 donate - talk to your friends and family and let them be part of this nationwide record!
